Driver & Vehicle Requirements

To maintain our premium standards, all applicants must meet the following criteria

Private Hire Driver Licence

You must hold a valid, current licence issued by Newcastle City Council or Northumberland County Council.

Licensed Vehicle

You must own or rent a clean, modern vehicle (Saloon, Estate, EV, MPV, or Minibus) licensed by Newcastle City Council or Northumberland County Council.

Enhanced DBS & Insurance

You must provide proof of your Enhanced DBS background check and valid Private Hire (Hire & Reward) Insurance.

Professional Presentation & Standards

As self-employed professionals, you choose your own attire, but we expect a clean, smart, and presentable appearance at all times (smart casual is perfectly fine, but strictly no flip-flops, tank tops, or vests). Please note: If you drive an executive-class vehicle and wish to access our high-tier VIP and Corporate bookings, you must present yourself as a "suited and booted" chauffeur for those specific journeys.
