This guide spotlights our two car park options for pickups and drop-offs, the Short Stay 2 Car Park (free with a short walk) and the Express Car Park (super close for added convenience, with a small extra charge).
We highly recommend the Express Car Park if you're traveling with lots of luggage, have mobility concerns, or simply prefer minimal walking, especially if it's your first time at Newcastle International Airport. The Short Stay 2 is a great budget choice for lighter trips.
SHORT STAY 2 CAR PARK
Just 300m from the terminal (a quick 3-5 minute walk along a signposted covered walkway). Adds £𝟯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀.
EXPRESS CAR PARK
Located opposite the terminal at 50m (less than a minute walk across a safe crossing). Adds £5 for saloon, estate, or executive saloon vehicles. Adds £6 for MPVs, minibuses, or executive minibuses.

Airport Hotels
If your booking is to or from one of the airport hotels (e.g., DoubleTree by Hilton, Britannia, or Premier Inn), you must be staying at the hotel. The reception requires proof of your stay (like a booking confirmation) to validate the parking ticket and allow your driver to exit the car park area.
No Pickup/Drop-Off at Petrol Station
For safety and compliance, pickups and drop-offs are not permitted at the airport petrol station. Violations can result in a £100 penalty charge notice. Our drivers will refuse to use this area to avoid fines and ensure compliance.
Red Route Restrictions
The airport is surrounded by a red route with double red lines, meaning no stopping at all on these roads. Fines are £60 therefor our drivers will refuse to stop here to prevent any penalties.
